KewlFabric 7101 Cooling Solutions
Worried about the next heat wave and how it will impact you? Trying to figure out how best to balance out the need to #GetItDone and protecting yourself from the heat and potential #heatstress. You should be!

Reading my daily summary from The Economist, I could not help but wonder if people have access to all of the tools they can use to combat heat fatigue and heat stress. Are we using all of the tools at our disposal? Rest, shade, water and #coolingvests using KewlFabric 7101 will help you Get It Done.
Our KewlFabric 7101 is based on 20 years of research, development and testing. It has been tested in the lab and in the field on multiple occasions by athletes, trainers and universities around the world. The common thread throughout has been that once it has been tried people want to use it because they feel the positive impact of the #activecooling provided by the #coolingfabric, KewlFabric 7101.
What Makes KewlFabric an Active Cooling Solution?
#Activecooling, as defined by me, occurs when you "supercharge the body's natural cooling process" by increasing the amount of #evaporativecooling around the body beyond just wicking and evaporating the body's sweat faster. A safe and natural process to increase what your body is naturally doing.
#KewlFabric is designed to quickly absorb water and slowly evaporate it. It does this through the use of specially designed super absorbing fibers (SAF). Unlike other water absorbing mediums (i.e. crystals used in many neckbands), our SAF is made up of long fibers with a greater surface area to allow for greater water absorption. Their construct is such that these fibers will hold onto the water forcing evaporation through airflow.
Built into a non-woven fabric that is three layers thick (a middle absorbing layer and two outer protective layers), the 7101 quickly absorbs water and slowly evaporates it providing longer cooling (5-10hrs) depending on saturation, airflow and ambient temperature. The 7101 absorbent fibers are blended with other fibers evenly throughout the structure, allowing consistent absorption across the whole garment. Due to the materials and design of the fabric, it is designed with built in anti-bacterial capabilities. There are no organic materials used in the making of KewlFabric 7101, and it is machine washable.
We have seen motorcyclists driving between Los Angeles and Las Vegas get 45mins to 1hr of cooling relief and think it is fantastic and construction workers getting 6-8 hrs of cooling relief and love how they feel. While the cooling durations can differ due to the amount of airflow and ambient temperature, both groups recharged their #coolingvests quickly and easily by simply soaking the vests in clean water for 2-3 minutes and putting them back on.

Three-layer design of KewlFabric
Our three-layer KewlFabric 7101 design is then layered between an outer fabric that allows for evaporation and an inner layer that is waterproof, as seen in the above video.
We have measured vests that added 1-1.25 lbs of water weight after being soaked for 2-3 mins. That means that the user was able to evaporate and be cooled off by over a pound of water. Hence, they super charge the body's natural cooling process, taking us way beyond simply evaporating your sweat.
Super charge your body’s natural cooling process with KewlFabric 7101 products and #BeatTheHeat.
