Making the Magic Real-KewlFabric 7101

kewlfabric solutions personal cooling solutions

Over the years I have been asked about our production capabilities and I have often spoken about how we make #KewlFabric 7101, and the standards we adhere to in our production processes.  During a recent visit to our manufacturing facility, I had a chance to dig deeper into our operation and of course take pictures and videos.

First, we make KewlFabric 7101 with unique raw materials specifically developed for our active #evaporativecooling fabric. Raw materials designed specifically to absorb, store and slowly release water through evaporation.  It is a key reason why our absorption rates beat the competition even though we are a lighter fabric.  For more details see our earlier article.

KewlFabric 7101 is actually a three layer fabric that combines three different non-woven sheets into one, giving strength and durability to our #coolingsolution.  The creation of these sheets requires a multitude of machines in multiple lines and across a very large plant.

Now this is just one of three lines used to make our KewlFabric 7101.  Did you notice how clean and tidy everything is in this plant?

The facilities we use to make our KewlFabric 7101 are medical grade facilities.  We make field dressings, and other personal hygiene products in this plant.  Why bother?  Well, we care about quality, and our customers safety.  We make something that is used in your clothing and can be against your skin, so quality of materials and production is important.

We also make KewlFabric 7101 in very large volumes when we go into production, and we need to know that every metre of our fabric is made right, before it goes into one of our cooling garments.  The only way to guarantee that every metre is made right is to work with people that have the operational standards to ensure this with every product they make.

ISO 9000, SEDEX, OEKO-Tex, REACH, CA Prop 65, these are all various global standards and tests that distributors often demand proof of before making a purchase.  Because of the manufacturing facilities we use to make Kewlfabric 7101, we meet them easily.

Before you select a partner for your cooling vest product line, or personal cooling technology, know where they came from, where they are going and what they have done to ensure your success.
